About Me.

Dr. Koushik Pan is a proud son of the soil from Bankura, one of the most remote districts of West Bengal State in India.

He was a bright student in school & decided to pursue medicine in order to serve his community. He successfully completed his MBBS from NRS Medical College Kolkata in 2009, his post graduation (MD in Medicine) in 2014 from SSKM & subsequently also accomplished his Super Specialisation with a DM in Neurology in the year 2017, as an alumni of the famous Bangur Institute of Neurology at Kolkata.  Attached with Ramkrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan as Assistant Professor in Department of Neurology.

Dr Pan is a specialist neuro-medicine practitioner who reaches out with care to the common people with his expertise & empathy at regular intervals, besides his usual clinics, that seek to address various Neurological disorders.

Dr. Koushik Pan MD DM (Neuro) has interest focused mainly on Neurology being a Neurologist himself. Having a long experience of treating patients with moderate to high degrees of Neurological issues ranging from Epilepsy to Alzheimer’s disease and even spinal disorders with admirable success. His other area of interest is the neurological issues involved post cerebral attack and its management. What makes him special is applying 6th sense and not just relying on clinical findings.

Dr. Pan doesn’t confine himself within the four walls of Hospital and Nursing homes but as a socially committed human being, he attends to the call of voluntary organisations attending the health camps for the poorest of the poor. He often visits orphanages in the neighbouring areas with donations and medical aids. His work among the orphans and destitute is highly appreciated by NGOs and Govt. agencies during the times of pandemic when he had actively participated in social awareness programme on Communicable diseases that often takes heavy toll of slum dwellers.

Dr. Pan evinces keen interest in rural healthcare development by way of advise as a Neurologist when approached.

Dr. Koushik Pan has experience of more than 5 years in the field of neuro-medicine. He has great clinical acumen in clinching diagnosis. He has immense patience and hears every minute complaints of patient and tries to explain lucidly. He has great empathy over his patients. He attends phone call and always responds in text /WhatsApp.

He also holds the reputation of having many published papers to his credit & his clinical interest areas include Epilepsy, Movement Disorders & Neuropathic Pain.
